I am Troy Cruz, I offer recording and mixing services to artists and bands looking to take their music to the next level.
About Me
I’m a Recording and Mixing Engineer working in the industry since 2019. My passion for audio grew out of the impact music & film has had on my own life, and it continues to drive the way I approach every project.
After earning a master’s degree in sound from Northwestern University, I dedicated my career to collaborating with musicians, filmmakers, and other creatives to support their vision and help shape their ideas through sound.
I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of studios and on a wide range of projects, creating lasting memories, records, and films alongside inspiring musicians and storytellers.

Generally, all I need is the multitrack files from your song or album, and a few reference tracks of music that influences you!

For a single track, I can get it back to you within 1 week of starting the mix, albums can depend, and we would need to have a discussion about it!

Yes! Three revisions are included in the price, every revision after that is $50.

Yes! A few other things that I can be hired for are film mixes/live sound engineering/video editing.
I also teach mixing at Northwestern University!
